I am changing the suspension to lower the car by 1 1/2"

This is a cheap way to pop a ball joint loose

Having a little bit of trouble.  The bolts are seized up in the bushings, all six of them. I had to remove the cross member.

Now the bolt head is ground off I just need to spread the frame to remove the control arm.

Now comes the fun.

I now have three bolts broke off inside of both lower control arm bushings and one of the upper control arm bushings.  Removing the bushings will be very hard to do now.

This is the upper control arm.  I had to cut the bolt off to remove it from the cross member.

I went to Held Motorsports at http://www.heldmotorsports.com  and ordered a new Coil Over Suspension system for the front and rear.  I will have to cut the cross member for the new parts to fit.

This is the front cross member removed so I can work on it.

Now I need to weld the cut parts together again.

Now the cross-member has been welded I can grind it flat and paint the part.

One bolt on both sides of the car broke on the front stabilizer bar bushings and has to be repaired.

This is the new suspension installed.  The tags on the control arms say "Loose".
